Grievance Process When your rights at the workplace have been violated, you have a right to file a grievance to seek remedy. No employee shall be subject to reprisal for using or participating in the grievance process. What is a grievance? A grievance is an alleged violation, misinterpretation, or misapplication of the terms and provisions of the contract. How long do I have to file a grievance? A grievance must be filed within 5 days of the alleged violation. How do I file a grievance? If you wish to file a grievance, please follow the Grievance Procedure listed in Article 7 of the contract:
